12/11/2025 Came in for some slices before closing time. The quality for the price is unmatched. The cheese with pepperoni was incredible, with generous cups on top that made the slice quite greasy. That’s the price you pay for good pepperoni. The Sicilian was one of the best pieces of pizza I’ve ever had. Super simple, but basil was the heart and soul of this sauce. Every bite was better than the last. A bit thin on the sauce in all honesty, but I could care less with how this stuff smells and tastes. $3 a slice. 75¢ per topping. Cheese, margherita, vodka and Sicilian. Seems like the vodka sells out early. They have a full menu and sit down portion of the restaurant but I only went for some slices.

Joe & Pat’s Pizzeria and Restaurant is one of my absolute must-stops every time I visit Staten Island. I come up from South Carolina about twice a year, and I make it a point to eat here at least once — and honestly, sometimes twice — because it’s just that good. The food is consistently delicious, the servers are kind and attentive, and the whole place feels like authentic New York fare… exactly what I’m looking for when I’m in town. Over two days, we tried a very impressive spread: Meatball appetizer (so good we ordered it twice) Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken — freakin’ delicious Butternut squash ravioli — divine/favorite!! Angel hair with pesto — awesome Fettuccine with sausage and broccoli rabe-very good Philly cheesesteak-very good Rigatoni with meatballs-the best Every single dish was spot-on. You honestly couldn’t ask for better food anywhere. One thing to know: parking is a bear during prime-time hours. Just plan ahead, take a deep breath, and circle the block like the locals do — it’s worth it once you sit down and start eating. If you’re anywhere near Staten Island, do yourself a favor and make a stop at Joe & Pat’s. You won’t regret it.

I got a peperoni personal pie. The pizza was good but not amazing. I would say a 6.7 on the portnoy scale. The crust was real thin but not crispy or charred, it was a bit too soft. The toppings were good

Awesome pizza. Been coming here for 40 plus years. One of the best on SI

Let’s be honest. The pizza is the only real star here. It smells amazing when it comes out, the crust is solid, and it is what keeps people coming back. No argument there. That said, everything else on the menu was mediocre at best. Not terrible, but nothing that made me say I need to order this again. For a place with this kind of reputation, the rest of the food should hit harder, and it just did not. Service was okay. Not rude, not warm, just doing the job. No attention to detail, no extra effort. Now the real issue was the waiting area. There was a strong, unpleasant odor near the front that seriously killed the appetite before we even sat down. First impressions matter, and that alone takes away from what should be a classic, comfortable pizza experience. Bottom line. If you are coming strictly for pizza, you will probably leave happy. If you are looking for a full dining experience with food, service, and atmosphere, it falls short right now. This place could be great again with better cleanliness and a stronger overall menu.

Really good pizza! I got the cheese pizza and trio. Thin, crispy and high quality ingredients. Seafood platter is a must! Comes with calamari, muscles, clams and shrimp. Can’t beat that.

Joe & Pat's in Staten Island is absolutely worth the trip. This family-run pizzeria has been serving up pizza perfection since 1960. The crust is so thin it could almost cut you—crispy without being dry - zero flop. The sauce is crafted just the way it should be. Their classic mozzarella pie is unforgettable and truly unique to this legendary spot. Joe & Pat's has been on my list for years, and my only regret is that I waited so long to try it. Without a doubt, it ranks in my top five pizzas in New York.
